What did we do with the Javon Walker 2nd rounder? We parlayed it into something like four more players or something.

Why? It's a Ted thing.


I can almost PROMISE you that Ted will do the same thing. Why? Because what player wants to be known as the guy who was selected from the Brett Favre trade, not to mention that player will be compared to Brett when others evaluate Ted.

Does Ted think of things like this? I dunno, probably not but dammit its my theory!! :blackeye:

That's an interesting thought. Who would want to be "the guy they got in exchange for Brett Favre"? Not me. But I don't think Ted cares. He will approach that draft pick with the same quiet confidence with which he approaches every draft pick. Whatever he thinks is the best value at the time, he'll take it, and anyone who second guesses him can go to hell, as far as he is concerned. And if he drafts a single player with that pick, he'll support that player as strongly as he's supported Aaron Rodgers.

The best thing he can do with that 2nd (assuming the Jets make the Playoffs) is trade it away for more. That way, it will be the "players" we got for BF . It would be much better that way. Not so much pressure on one player.
