I was asked "why you opt to pay taxes....seeing as how they've revoked our constitutional rights and it's technically no longer supposed to be required. Find that screwy? Go google it." the other day on Facebook.

I heard this before too that we do not HAVE to pay taxes. I am not opposed to paying taxes, not at all. I don't much care for how they are spent, but the concept I am fine with.

Where is this whole 'we dont have to pay taxes' thing come from?

Also, what do you folks know about this?

No you don't have to pay taxes. You can go to jail instead.

My question is will we really be fined for refusing health care coverage?

Ted Thompson sits on his hands per former GM: "because they’ve had 25 fricking years of great quarterbacks. Of course it works. Try it without a special quarterback."

There is another way to NOT pay taxes - no threat of going to prison, no need to "give up your rights" - is that even possible?

I refer to NOT having enough income for paying taxes to be required. I haven't paid taxes using that method for years hahahaha, and I've still managed to live pretty well.

however, when in the last 6 years has the government actually followed the law?

Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
