Espn is now reporting that the Bills are looking for a trade partner for Safety Jarius Byrd, So do we throw a mid to high round draft pick for him? He is in a franchise tag year so we would have to get a deal done before all would happen. I was just wondering what others thought of the idea of bringing him in? I say we pass because it will cost alot of money for his new contract.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Not Ted's M.O.

He's not going to spend a lot of money this early in the season, way to many current Packers whos contracts need to be addressed by next year.

I think The Organization as a whole are happy with the talent they have, just got to get them all back healthy and on the field.

Now if a team would straight up release a proven vet at Safety, and Ted decided that player could be an upgrade and wouldn't cost an arm and a leg, then he might pull the trigger on a deal like that.
I was addicted to The Hokey Pokey, but I turned myself around!

Jarius Byrd will not be traded to the Packers.

1) Davon House.
2) The fact that no team can extend Byrd until after the season comes to an end.

As I expected, they resigned him and he is now a solid player for that team.

Of course, the Packers don't take any risks like that, really, even if it meant potentially improving the team.

dfosterf (11h) : Suit him up and have him stand in front of the big board as a draft day cautionary tale.

Zero2Cool (4-Apr) : Texans to let Diggs be free agent in '25
buckeyepackfan (4-Apr) : 49r's aign RB Patrick Taylor.

Mucky Tundra (4-Apr) : Gotta imagine that Green Bay vs Houston will be a primetime game this upcoming season
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : No. Kill QB. No worries. 😁
Mucky Tundra (3-Apr) : Diggs, Collins, Dell and Schultz is gonna be tough to cover
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Stefon Diggs' trade will not be processed as a post-June 1 designation, so that is just over $31 million in dead cap this year.
Zero2Cool (3-Apr) : Bills trading WR Stefon Diggs to the Texans in exchange for a 2025 2nd-round pick. (via @rapsheet)
