NFL Sunday Ticket is definitely the best ~$220 bucks I spend each year, as an out-of-state Packer fan.

It's gotta really suck to live in Northwestern Wisconsin and get stuck with the Vilequeens every week. As a kid, had grandparents that lived in Barron, back before cable the only stations they could get in clear were from the Cities. Reception from Eau Claire wasn't the best. As of 1993 my aunt in Turtle Lake still didn't have access to cable on Horseshoe lake. No idea how it is now.

Although there is the NFL Game Rewind for all the games that shows the game in about 30 minutes. I don't really like that, however. NFL Network also replays a couple games each week, too. Otherwise, I suppose one could watch the Red Zone channels offered through Direct TV and the NFL Network. A lot of people really seem to like those, but I don't care for them much. I'd rather just flip between the games I want to watch, not just see all the big plays at their discretion.

I don't even like RedZone Channels, and 2.) NFL Network has a Red Zone channel themselves. They also offer the ability to watch games on the go via the internet, cell phone, tablet, etc. That's a pretty cool feature, but I just don't really need it. If I can't watch the game on Sunday, it means I'm traveling and won't have time to watch the game anyway, even if I could watch it on my phone, etc. I'll just record the games I want to watch and view them once I return. And the ability to record 5 games at once is plenty to for me, as there is usually not many more games on than that anyway for the first set of games at 1:00 pm estn, and definitely not for the 2nd set at 4 pm estn. The ability to get all the games live is fine for me paired with a DVR. I must admit though, that it's nice they dropped the price. The original price of around $350 dollars was too much. A little over $200 for the base package is reasonable imo, all things considered.

With that being said, I must say I'm really enjoying the shift in my game days Sundays now that I've moved from the east coast to the west coast. It's nice to have the games come on at 10 am and be completed before 9 pm on Sundays (vs. starting at 1 pm and not ending until around midnight on the east coast). The west coast football schedule is the way to go, imo. I don't miss those late football nights, at all.

As a Packers fan you're maybe OK at 10 am in the morning in CA, but figure out how Browns fans there feel taking shots all morning to somehow survive the game [grin1]
