Thanks everyone. This will be a much better career choice as I'll be programming full time with a plethora of projects coming down my pipe. I'm very excited.

haha I have a teenager that needs to be working during the summer.

This is probably some kind of narcissistic trait, but I need validation through feeling I've contributed to a good cause at the days end to feel good about myself. I just can't sit around doing nothing everyday and feel good about myself. I have too many responsibilities.

I'm glad to have received an offer that pays more, plus some perks I was willing to let 'slide' and earn them later in my tenure. They made a really good offer. So, its best of both worlds. And yes, money isn't everything, I found that out directly the last 10 months. Never had I been paid more, but never was I more miserable.
