Not asking for any pity, just prayers/thoughts for my SuperHero dad who's overcoming the c-word. Surgery to remove a tumor on Friday and after he's healed up, starts up chemo.

Get your prayer/thought chains going, if you could, please. Thanks.

It was a real education for me when my dad had cancer.

You need to go to his chemo treatment with him at least once. I enjoyed the talks we had while he was sitting there.

Colon. Had it scoped out two Mondays ago, they also did a cat-like scan. Got the 'results' this Tuesday. The tumor was cancerous and they claim it has spread to his liver. I'm speaking and believing that it's nonlethal and all he has to do is walk out the fight as it's already won.



Great idea. Never thought of that. When it comes down to when he starts going I'll have to make time to go with him. I'll have to do some traveling to go with, but I'd walk to the ends of the Earth to do it. Thanks.

I went 2-3 times (My mother, brother and sister went to his other treatments.) They offered to let us watch a movie during the process. We usually put in one but talked most of the time. We also had an hour drive to and from the hospital. PLUS we would go eat at Famous Dave's BBQ place afterward.
