Remember, still young, first full season, played through the acromioclavicular (....) injury, survived early rookie kid ego rap, did a hll of a lot better than most of us would've during the "You suck! We want Favre!" crapnure fest. You guys recall that, right? When parents sent their kids up to the fences during practice with signs and told them what to holler?
Good people. Smart people.

Real concern about Aaron was his durability. Tough enough, so far.

Way above.
Sure, it's a homer vote. So what.

YES!

Yet another ARod thread!

He is much more controlled and efficient than his predecessor... He seems to make more sensible throws...

Because of that, he is dependable and reliable... Predictable.
NOT as much fun to watch as his predecessor. Rodgers because of his more meticulous and careful nature tends to make less mistakes.

Will he win games like his predecessor? may be...

Its interesting to note though that he and his predecessor started their careers with the same record 4 wins, 4 losses...

In the 8 games, Rodgers has performed admirably and waaaaay above average. If you look at what his predecessor accomplished from the 4-4 start, Arod's future looks promising doesn't it?

I mean I will hold onto my opinion for now. He hasn't even thrown a pass to himself yet!!

Glad you stuck to the "no talk about comparing to BF" request. I am sure LT is thankful.

He has done slightly above average compared to the rest of the league. He has done well above my expectations. A QB's Job is to complete passes. his percentage is right about the middle of the league. So I give him a slightly above average.

I like what he's done so far. I'm going with above average though, since he hasn't had a real 'moment' in my eyes. And some of the throws like the Int into double coverage at Tennessee, or the Driver TD in double coverage. It's great when it works, but it holds alot of risks.

Matt Cassell is 5-3 now and Byron Leftwich has a 117.4 rating. Both of them aren't great. I think you have to look at everything in perspective; team, ofcourse the QB himself an what not. For example a player that has played for the league for a long time. his rating shows you how good he has been, playing for nearly 20 years. But he's been a 95.8, supberbowl winning QB, but also a 70.9, 4-12 QB, mostly depending on the rest of his team. So I don't hold on to either stat on the short term.

average, the losses at atl and tenn show rodges inexperience. with favre we are 6-2.

as far as stats, he is on pace for 26 td 10 int & 3800 yrds passing on a .500 team, not really MVP #'s.

4-4 is average.

.500 football.

He can't put a team on his back and win one for you, like the other guy could.

As a matter of fact, Skip Bayless said that "If Ted Thompson would have let Brett Favre in that locker room, the Packers would be 7-1 right now".....

...and I believe him!

"beast" wrote:

Why? Because of Favre record number of INTs?

Why does anybody believe anything Bayless has to say other than, when he's talking about Packman or when he says "your wrong" when talking to Steven A. Smith?

"Roddyboy" wrote:

Roddyboy/Chase is a skip bayless... Utter moron.

This has JUST begun... Wait a while... You will see.

Roddyboy, WHAT other guy?

Packers have 2 other QBs on their team so which one are you and Skippy comparing AARON to?

If your ex-boyfriend called you at 4 in the morning and said he was going to kill himself because you two broke up, would you believe him too?
