DeShawn Wynn. All he did was come off the practice squad and pick up blitz after blitz. (Brandon Jackson I hope you were taking notes.)

WTG DeShawn.

Usually I notice RB blitz pickup, and I can't think of any of them(damn alcohol).

I'll take your word for it. Blitz pickup is huge and a big pet peeve of mine when RBs SUCK at it.

Wynn deserves more carries, especially on short yard situations. C'mon Mccarthy, you're killin me here.

He was solid. McCarthy even touched on it in his PC yesterday.

(How much catching up does Wynn have to do, or is he in good shape from being on the practice squad?)
DeShawn Wynn was moved up on Saturday afternoon and ended up playing in the game on Sunday. I think if you just look at the touchdown play, the blitz pickup that he had in the game, I think that there is a great example of someone that has been here but that's taken advantage of his reps.

Check out the TD play to Jennings. (at 1:33)

Good catch. Who was the other RB on that play, he got pushed back pretty far almost IN TO rodgers. Jackson?

This concerns me now. This could be a big reason the Oline play looks so bad, cuz OTHER people with blocking assignments are failing.

I'm not sure. Jackson didn't play at all. (flu)

DeShawn Wynn will be an excellent asset, he has lost 10 pounds and is in much better shape. He's got the tools to be a #1.

Wynn's play was HUGE for the TD. He heard the line call from Wells and was assigned to pick up the blitzing OLB, and he called Lee to block the lone blitzing guy on the right outside. Both Lee and Wynn had huge blocks to give Rodgers the time to throw it deep.

After reading TheEngineer's post, and after listening to Wayne and Larry's call, it was Wynn who got driven back. But he still picked him up. It wasn't pretty, but it got the job done.
