It's kind of been vogue to ridicule the Packers defense and also the 1st round selections. I had thought Kenny Clark was doing decent, but chalked it up to more wishful thinking. Larry McCaren did a little piece on him that should make us all feel a little better about the Packers 2016 first round draft pick and what he might bring in the coming years. Not much to criticize. Even 1st round picks don't play a whole lot in their first season. That's one of the reason teams like to have a 5th year in the rookie contract. Clark was pretty young in 2016. He could have played more snaps but they chose to have him watch and learn. I thought Lowry out played him at times. Clark will get more opportunities in 17.

He definitely showed some athleticism and play diagnosing ability later in the season. Something our D severely lacked overall. Looking forward to seeing the jump he makes this year. He was the youngest player in the league last season afterall!

Definitely. He played a good amount of snaps (335) too which should give him a lot of tape to self evaluate.

If Clark continues his ascension (can't be too hopeful, ahem D. Randall, Q. Rollins) we should have some good stuff from him. Imagine if B.J. Raji comes back and plays the position he's best suited for!!
