I am wondering if the Packers are waiting for the Raiders to cut him given the Raiders QB surplus situation. I don't know how his contract works, but if does get cut and clears waivers do we get to sign him for whatever he will take and not be on the hook for his salary next year? I would certainly like to see Flynn back in GB rather than their current back-up QB situation. Wallace seems adequate and comes from a WCO background that should allow him to learn the playbook, but Flynn would be a best option of those who could become available.

I wouldn't mind having him back here as insurance.
But at a backup's salary, not at a starting QB salary.

I would be shocked if he cleared waivers with the QB situation of the Jets, Jaguars, and Bills. On the other hand I might still be looking at him through green and gold colored glasses.

is it not catching a break or is it not having the ability to lead your team as a starting qb, he had 2 starts with the pack , both excellent starts but 2 games is not a sure fire starter, there must be something to it if he cant make the oakland raiders as there starter!!
