I see your point. But Rodgers proved that he’s still got it regardless of their young corners. They had a lot of tight coverages and Aaron placed the ball perfectly all day. Many people, including members here, said all of last year that Rodgers has lost his accuracy. Also, he was getting the ball out and not holding onto it like many accuse him of.

I think Rodgers himself has basically admitted he wasn't stating balanced throughout his throws and his 2010 film reminded him of what he has to do.

Also PFF says Rodgers was 25th in the NFL (only 32 starting spots) on accuracy of intermediate routes last year. Even if he was absolutely amazing deep... as I said last year, he reminded me of Micheal Vick in that he could make the toughest throws, but was struggling with some of the throws you'd think would be more routine.

PFF also pointed out that the Packers threw to intermediate routes less than average past year and even less percentage wise in the Vikings game.

His accuracy was amazing Sunday. And he hit the short throws, taking what the defense gives.
That was missing last year.
And the few drops, had they been caught, he probably would have thrown over 450 yards and at least another TD.
In the chat I chastised MVS for his drops. Zero put me in my place for calling him to be benched.....MVS (and Zero) proved me wrong. And I’m glad they did!😁
The TD catch MVS made was a very difficult catch.
